We are looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist with strong Databricks expertise to join our growing AI and Data Engineering practice.

Position: Data Scientist – Databricks / AI / ML

Location: India (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Shift: Flexible overlap with US teams preferred

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Data Scientist who can work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to build scalable AI/ML solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in:

• Machine Learning
• Databricks
• PySpark
• Data Engineering concepts
• MLOps
• Generative AI
• Real-time and batch analytics

This role involves building enterprise-grade AI solutions, predictive models, intelligent data pipelines, and GenAI-powered applications using modern cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Machine Learning and AI solutions using Databricks
• Build scalable ML pipelines using PySpark and Databricks notebooks
• Develop predictive analytics, forecasting, classification, clustering, and recommendation models
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets at enterprise scale
• Build and optimize feature engineering pipelines
• Implement MLOps pipelines using MLflow, Model Registry, and CI/CD
• Develop GenAI and RAG-based solutions using LLMs and Vector Search
• Work with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse architecture
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams for ingestion and transformation workflows
• Build dashboards, insights, and analytical solutions for business teams
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and inference workloads
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical solution design
• Create technical documentation and best practices

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Databricks
• Strong Python and PySpark programming skills
• Experience with Machine Learning frameworks:
• Scikit-learn
• TensorFlow
• PyTorch
• XGBoost
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing
• Strong understanding of statistics and predictive modeling
• Experience with Delta Lake and Spark optimization
• Experience with MLflow and MLOps
• Experience working with AWS cloud services
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs
