We are hiring a Senior Manager of Direct Mail-Remote.

The Senior Manager of Direct Mail will lead the strategy, execution and optimization of direct response marketing efforts, with a focus on scaling the direct mail channel. The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution while analyzing data, and cross-functional collaboration to drive incremental customer acquisition.

You’ll bring deep expertise in direct mail best practices—from audience segmentation and creative testing to format and cadence optimization—along with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. This role will also manage external vendor relationships and oversee campaign production and performance.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Research, develop and execute direct mail strategy to grow new customer contacts for all direct response programs and support customer acquisition and engagement, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and business goals.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform segmentation strategies, creative development, format testing, landing page updates and frequency/cadence planning to drive channel effectiveness.
  • Partner with Analytics team to analyze historical and real-time campaign performance, use data to identify opportunities, identify and analyze trends, refine targeting, and scale the channel effectively. Assist to create forecast models to predict spending, drops, conversions and potential areas of growth.
  • Manage relationships with direct mail vendors, data providers, and print partners to ensure accurate execution, quality output, and cost-efficiency.
  • Oversee creative development and approvals, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, budgets, and reporting dashboards to ensure visibility, accuracy, and alignment across teams.
  • Lead A/B and multivariate testing initiatives, translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in direct response or performance marketing, ideally in a data-rich, results-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize ROI.
  • Strong knowledge of audience segmentation, list management, and data hygiene practices.
  • Able to research and identify lead sources to amplify the channel.
  • A strategic thinker with a test-and-learn mindset and meticulous attention to detail. Hands-on experience with campaign testing, including A/B and multivariate methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
