Job Overview:

Dream Orbit is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role requires expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to solve complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with experience in handling large datasets and deploying models into production.

Key Responsibilities:1. Data Analysis & Machine Learning

• Lead data-driven projects, performing complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and improve decision-making.
• Ensure models are robust, scalable, and interpretable, and continuously optimize them for performance.
• Apply techniques in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and deep learning, if required.

2. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to understand business objectives and implement data science solutions.
• Effectively communicate technical insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and analysts.

3. Model Deployment & Performance Optimization

• Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Monitor model performance, retrain as needed, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Work with engineers to optimize data pipelines and model inference performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI.
• Expertise in Python (or R), with experience in libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and deep learning.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI model deployment, MLOps, and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of AutoML and Explainable AI (XAI) techniques.
• Experience in A/B testing, time-series forecasting, and reinforcement learning.
