Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Staff Engineer / Tech Lead to join our team during a critical early-growth stage. The ideal candidate is execution-driven (80% IC) with light leadership responsibilities, capable of owning architecture decisions and delivering high-quality features with speed.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end development of core product features (coding, testing, reviews, documentation)
• Refactor and modernize legacy code to improve system performance
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with the technical founder to shape the engineering roadmap
• Mentor junior engineers and help establish scalable engineering processes
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and stakeholders

Technical Requirements:

• 8–10 years in software engineering (preferably in Staff/IC roles)
• Strong execution mindset, preferably with startup experience
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js
• Backend: Python (Flask)
• Infra & Systems: Kubernetes, scalable microservices, distributed systems
• ML/AI: LangChain, PyTorch, Transformers, LLMs, multi-agent frameworks
• Familiarity with AI dev tools (e.g., Cursor) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AdTech / MediaTech platforms
• Competitive programming or hackathon participation
• Background in high-growth product startups or top-tier tech companies
• Strong academic record (GPA 3.8+/4.0 preferred)
