Java Backend Developer

Location: Remote – Asset collection from Mumbai / Chennai / Bangalore / Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Work with Kafka/AWS MSK for event-driven and asynchronous systems.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases.
• Manage APIs using Apigee and ensure proper security.
• Work with Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins and Git for deployment and CI/CD.
• Monitor applications using New Relic and ELK.
• Support and enhance existing Email and SMS middleware platforms.
• Work with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, vendors and application teams.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code Assist or GitHub Copilot while following appropriate security and governance practices.

Preferred

• Experience with Twilio, Syniverse, SparkPost or similar communication platforms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
