About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics initiatives, develop predictive models, and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data technologies, with a proven ability to mentor junior teams and communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Data Analysis & Modeling

• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Design, build, and deploy predictive models and ML algorithms (supervised/unsupervised learning).
• Validate and optimize models for accuracy, scalability, and business impact.

✔ Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Mentor junior data scientists, fostering best practices in coding, modeling, and MLOps.

✔ Technical Execution

• Develop ETL pipelines and data workflows using Python, R, SQL, and Spark.
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for scalable model deployments.
• Create interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) and visualizations to communicate insights.

✔ Stakeholder Communication

• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences with clarity.
• Document methodologies and maintain reproducibility in analytics workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

• Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), R, and SQL.
• Big Data: Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, or distributed computing.
• ML/AI: Strong knowledge of regression, classification, NLP, and deep learning (TensorFlow/PyTorch).
• Cloud & MLOps: Experience deploying models on AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI.
• Data Visualization: Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Leadership ability to guide teams and drive projects independently.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Certifications in Data Science, Cloud, or ML (e.g., AWS Certified ML Specialty) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) for NLP or computer vision.
• Knowledge of experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and model monitoring tools.
