Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-driven Senior Data Scientist to join our team on a remote contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data technologies. You will be responsible for developing advanced data models, extracting insights from large datasets, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large-scale datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends and patterns.
• Design and develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
• Validate and ensure the performance and accuracy of data science models through testing and evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor and support junior data scientists in projects, code reviews, and best practices.
• Create clear, concise, and compelling presentations of findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with Big Data Technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc.
• Proven experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong background in Statistical Analysis, Data Mining, and Predictive Modeling.
• Skilled in Data Visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
• Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch (preferred).
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a remote and agile environment is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members.
• Strong understanding of business domains and how to translate data insights into business outcomes.
