About Mind Health Group:
Mind Health Group is a telepsychiatry company on a mission to provide accessible, patient-focused mental health care. As we grow, we’re reimagining our online presence to better reflect our services, values, and the people we serve. We’re looking for a creative, user-centered Website Designer to help us rebuild and visually redesign our WordPress website from the ground up.
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and imaginative Website Designer who brings bold creativity and a deep understanding of UX/UI, particularly for mobile-first design. You'll play a key role in defining how visitors interact with and experience our website—helping shape an intuitive, visually engaging, and easy-to-navigate digital experience.
You should be confident in designing websites that include subpages or microsites and understand how to create a cohesive and engaging design system that represents multiple service lines under one brand.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead the visual redesign of the Mind Health Group website.
● Design engaging, modern, and accessible web pages with intuitive UX and seamless mobile usability.
● Create wireframes, mockups, and final designs using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
● Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of your designs.
● Strategize and design subpages, microsites, or service-line pages that function cohesively within the main site.
● Collaborate with leadership to capture the voice, tone, and mission of the company through thoughtful visuals and layout.
● Recommend innovative UI/UX ideas, micro interactions, and visual storytelling to improve engagement and conversion.
● Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and contribute to a consistent look and feel.
Requirements:
● 3+ years of experience in website or UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of WordPress-focused work.
● Proven experience designing websites with complex architecture (e.g., multiple subpages, service divisions).
● Strong command of mobile-first design and best practices in responsive web design.
● Expert in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
● Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and WordPress functionality to ensure designs are feasible and developer-friendly.
● Excellent eye for typography, spacing, color palettes, and visual hierarchy.
● Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
● Passion for creating accessible, clean, user-centered design experiences.
Bonus Experience (Nice to Have):
● Design experience in the behavioral health, medical, or telehealth space is a strong plus.
● Experience designing for healthcare audiences or patient-focused digital journeys.
● Animation or interaction design (scroll effects, microinteractions, etc.).
● Familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress page builders (Elementor, Divi), or CMS tools.
● Branding experience or ability to evolve brand identity visually through web design.
