Job Title: Foreman/Project Manager
The Foreman/Project Manager role is critical for the success of our construction projects, blending hands-on supervision with strategic project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and an ability to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders while ensuring efficient project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective communication with team members regarding project-specific requirements to achieve successful, safe, timely, and profitable outcomes.
- Develop and distribute weekly project schedules, ensuring timely updates to all stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of schedules for large bid projects and ensure project materials are staged and accounted for prior to project start-ups.
- Produce agendas for and participate in safety, pre-construction, progress, and coordination meetings.
- Ensure accurate and timely daily records are maintained for each project, including material tracking, inspections, testing records, and schedule progression.
- Communicate with construction administrators for accurate time coding and payroll verification, ensuring timely payroll submission related to ADP.
- Maintain and verify accurate daily records, Safety Inspections, and Project Safety Forms.
- Conduct weekly safety audits at project sites and document findings in project folders while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and state/local codes.
- Communicate project progress and issues with customers and onsite representatives, coordinating necessary actions.
- Facilitate weekly project update meetings with internal staff and external customers.
- Monitor productivity and costs, recommending changes to optimize labor efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace, overseeing Regional branch worksites and offices.
Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday
Travel: Daily travel is primarily local, but overnight regional travel will be required
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in construction management or supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
