Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Scientist to join our team. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights, building predictive models, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong statistical knowledge, programming skills, and business acumen to solve real-world problems using data.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through exploratory data analysis.
- Translate business challenges into data science solutions.
- Design and implement predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business stakeholders.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and reliability.
- Support experimentation initiatives, including A/B testing and hypothesis validation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data science and AI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above, both written and spoken.
- 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
- Knowledge of data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
