Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

We develop meteorological software for airports and meteorological institutes around the world. The scope of our work covers communication, databases, processing of measured data, image recognition, and data visualization. We develop in the Eclipse environment mainly for Linux OS.

Key Responsibilities

• writing the reliable code, well structured and documented
• keeping up with new technological trends and incorporate them into our existing products
• development of back-end software, scripts, and configuration of back-end software
• maintenance and updating of the developed software
• design and implementation of testing procedures, software testing
• creation and maintenance of development documentation
• adherence to work procedures for software implementation and testing
• requirements consultation with the project manager, development team, or customer
• study of new technologies in the field of software development, testing, and deployment

Job Requirements And Personal Qualifications

• BSc. or MSc. degree in software engineering, informatics, etc.
• English - B1+
• Java – advanced
• SQL - advanced
• Work experience 5 or more years in the position of JAVA programmer

Personal Qualifications

• ability to write readable and clean Java code
• desire to learn new technologies
• responsible work on the assigned tasks
• ability to work in a team
