*** This full-time reomte job opportunity is open to applicants from our core hiring markets: Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia.

Would you like to join our Verify team as a Mid-Level Engineer, where you'll play a hands-on role throughout the product development lifecycle with a strong focus on client-side SDK development?

In this role, you’ll work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and QA to ensure smooth integration between frontend components and our backend identity solutions. Your contributions will empower customers to embed advanced fraud prevention technology easily, reliably, and with minimal effort into their applications.

So if you're a passionate Mid-Level Engineer with frontend experience and excited to build and scale a client-side SDK for our ML-powered product, BlinkID Verify, using WebAssembly and vanilla JavaScript, Typescript—with a bit of C++ and .NET in the mix—this is the perfect opportunity for you!

A little bit about us

Microblink is an AI company specializing in computer vision and identity fraud detection. We create unique products and tools designed to make the future of digital identity a secure "no-fake-zone." Our expertise includes running efficient machine learning models directly on-device, enabling a uniquely seamless Identity Verification (IDV) experience. With teams across the US and Europe and main offices in New York and Zagreb, we touch hundreds of millions of users each year, processing over 800 million identity documents across more than 70 countries worldwide. Explore our tech in action here.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Develop a web SDK for our Document Verification solution
  • Take initiative, participate in the entire product life cycle, make an impact and take ownership while you grow
  • Participate in the design and building of cloud-native web applications using modern principles, with a microservice architecture deployed in containerized (Docker) environments
  • Participate in the entire development stack by using and interacting with C++, .NET, and Python.
  • Quickly onboard into a new team by proactively learning systems, workflows, and team processes; actively seek out best practices and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth integration.
  • Help the team make data-driven, sound decisions regarding frontend technologies, patterns, standards and architecture

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience building web applications running in production using TypeScript and working knowledge of any frontend framework
  • Are open to learning a wide range of new technologies and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Have a strong software engineering foundation and know your algorithms, data structures, and theory
  • Have strong knowledge and experience working with: All foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS), Typescript, Git, RESTful APIs and systems integration
  • Have an essential software development skillset (“it goes without saying” type of skills): team collaboration skills and tools, and good English language skills
  • Are responsible, proactive and driven by organizational and team success
  • Take full ownership of your work — from idea to delivery, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance

A plus is if you also have experience with

  • WebAssembly
  • C++
  • .NET
  • Writing unit and component tests

Here’s what you’ll gain if you join us

  • Microblink owes its success to its people. That is why we offer equity participation to all of our full-time employees so that we can grow together
  • Unlimited PTO, giving you the flexibility to take time off as needed to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

  • Flexible work arrangements, allowing you to adjust your schedule—whether working remotely or at our Zagreb office.
