Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a strategic and driven Sr. Manager, Product Marketing to define and communicate the value of MHC’s solutions to the market, with a strong focus on AP automation and payments software. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on marketing leader with deep knowledge of B2B SaaS, finance process automation, and enterprise buying cycles. You will drive product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enablement strategies to support revenue growth across all stages of the funnel.
You will be a part of a growing Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. This pivotal role will work cross-functionally with product management, sales, customer success, and the broader marketing team to bring compelling go-to-market strategies to life. A passion for translating complex technical solutions into clear business value and customer success stories is essential.
Work Location: U.S. Remote/Minnesota-based candidates preferred
What you'll get to do:
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies for MHC’s AP automation and payments solutions.
- Develop and refine positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with target personas (finance, IT, operations leaders) and drive market differentiation.
- Create compelling sales enablement tools (presentations, battlecards, one-pagers, competitive positioning guides).
- Launch new products and major features, partnering with Product Management and the Revenue teams to drive awareness and adoption.
- Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to create campaign messaging and content that supports lead generation goals.
- Lead voice-of-the-customer initiatives, including win/loss analysis, customer interviews, and case study development.
- Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to inform product positioning and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to continuously refine buyer personas, value propositions, and objection-handling strategies.
- Work closely with analysts, influencers, and industry groups to enhance MHC’s brand visibility in the AP automation and payments space.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of AP automation, payments solutions, finance processes, and enterprise software buyers.
- Knowledge of the document automation space is a notable plus, as our second product line is Customer Communications Management (CCM).
- Exceptional writing, messaging, and storytelling skills.
- Experience developing sales enablement materials and product collateral that drives pipeline acceleration and customer adoption.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, able to work across teams and levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset with ability to dive into tactical details as needed.
- Analytical skills to measure and optimize product marketing programs and campaigns.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Gong, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and others a plus.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; MBA a plus but not required.
- Required: 5+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, preferably in fintech, with at least 2 years of experience supporting AP automation, payments, or finance automation software.
