Senior Software Engineer (.NET & JavaScript)

Location: Fully Remote (with the possibility of a company-paid co-working space, depending on local availability)

Compensation: Up to €55,300 gross annually, plus a substantial monthly allowance (food, subscriptions, or other perks), the final offer will reflect your skills and experience.

Hiring bonus: €1000, paid upon successful onboarding as a welcome to the team

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET and JavaScript.

We partner with US-based clients to build cutting-edge solutions tailored to their industries. One of our current initiatives involves migrating large, complex JavaScript systems into a modern .NET stack, while ensuring scalability, long-term reliability, and room for rapid growth.

As part of this project, you’ll also be part of the design and implementation of custom AI models that automatically filter quotes, orders, and billing data before they reach the back office, dramatically improving efficiency and accuracy for our clients. Beyond this initiative, you’ll contribute to new features, future client projects, and the ongoing evolution of our cloud-native platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside exceptional talent:

• An ex-Microsoft engineer (20+ yrs), currently working in the largest healthtech/fintech company in the USA, with prior experience at one of the world’s top three AI labs.
• A Director of DevOps (10+ yrs) who helped grow a tech company in Greece from 4 to 40 employees, and who has architected systems serving millions of users with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.

In the first year, you’ll be part of a core team of up to 6 people, a rare chance to join at the early stage, with a direct role in shaping the product, culture, and technology direction. As we grow, we will be hiring a mix of mid-level and junior engineers, giving you the opportunity to mentor, collaborate, and help shape a balanced engineering team.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable applications using .NET and JavaScript
• Lead the migration of large codebases from JavaScript into .NET
• Collaborate with DevOps and Architects to build robust, secure, and high-performance systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior/mid-level engineers as the team grows
• Work in a startup-like environment with rapid iteration, ownership, and strong impact

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in .NET development (C#)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (preferred AWS, Azure or GCP are fine as well)
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team setting
• Passion for clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
