Senior Project Manager - Data Centers

THIS POSITION INVOLVES US-WIDE TRAVEL TO PROJECTS IN THE MID-WEST & SOUTH-EAST

Metric Geo are partnered with an ENR-Ranked Electrical Contractor that focuses on Mission Critical, Renewables, Utilities and T&D projects US-Wide.

They have an massive backlog of work across their divisions and have been building Data Centers for the last 10-years.

For their Data Center projects, a T&D background would make you a great fit as they install the Underground Utilities and Substations.

This is a full-time travelling position with a per diem and paid-flights home every 2 weeks.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Willingness to Travel: This role involves extensive travel.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Relevant experience in construction or a Union trade background may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: 10+ years of applicable work experience in the construction industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural plans, especially regarding project schedules, costs, and performance metrics.
• Core Competencies: Expertise in estimating, scheduling, cost management, field supervision, financial reporting, and client relationship management.
• Software: Proficient with Google Workspace, Primavera Project & Contract Management, and BlueBeam.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels, including with clients, owners, field teams, and office personnel.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Time Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and managing time for both yourself and your team.
