Our client, a DTC brand in the health & wellness vertical is looking for a Growth Marketing Director with extensive eCommerce experience.
Responsibilities
- Performance Marketing Strategy: Execute a data-driven performance marketing strategy that drives growth for the company’s flagship product, aligning with overarching business goals.
- Paid Advertising & Budget Optimization: Manage and optimize paid campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., Paid Search, Paid Social, Amazon) to maximize customer acquisition and revenue efficiency, focusing on LTV/CAC. Allocate budgets strategically to achieve maximum ROI while meeting growth targets.
- Creative Strategy: Analyze creative performance across paid channels, especially Paid Social, to deliver actionable insights that inform asset development and drive performance.
- CRM & Retention: Manage Email, SMS and Subscribe & Save programs to improve retention rates and customer lifetime value (LTV).
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Improve website pages and Amazon listings to increase conversion rates (CRO) and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Analytics & Reporting: Leverage data-driven insights to track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, refining strategies to improve outcomes.
- Testing & Experimentation: Conduct A/B tests across ad formats, audience targeting, and landing pages to optimize performance and scale winning strategies.
- Content Development: Facilitate the creation of performance-driven content to enhance effectiveness across all e-commerce marketing channels.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor movements to identify new growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in performance marketing with a proven track record of scaling high-ROI acquisition and retention programs for DTC brands in CPG, health & wellness, or highly preferred supplements/nutraceuticals/pharmaceutical. Has managed a yearly paid media budget of $2M+
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and CRM platforms (preferably Klaviyo), TikTok Shop, and Amazon Seller Central.
- Analytical Strength: Strong ability to extract actionable insights from data, optimizing performance across channels, creative assets, and attribution models.
- Strategic & Hands-On: Capable of both hands-on execution, scrappy problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment, takes full ownership of projects, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex insights in a clear, actionable manner to internal teams, agencies, and stakeholders. Comfort working with stakeholders to align on budgets, KPIs, and revenue-related goals.
- Growth Mentality: Deep understanding of the evolving performance marketing landscape and how the company can stay ahead in a competitive market.
