Job Description:
Metas Solutions has an "immediate opening" for an experienced Junior SharePoint Developer to work in Atlanta, GA. As a SharePoint Developer, you will work with a team of SMEs and clients supporting our federal government client population. You will support SharePoint administration and site collection, perform design and redesign, development, implementation, and migrations of SharePoint sites and workflows, and work on a team to support and migrate to SharePoint Online (SPO) sites. Primary activities include technical/architecture configuration, site design and construction, web application development, custom coding where applicable, migration of legacy sites and data, change management control, standard operating procedure recommendations relating to routine maintenance, and end user support. This is a diverse role requiring primarily support to SharePoint migration. The role is contractor site work however there may be a need to attend onsite meetings occasionally.
Responsibilities:
- The role includes a combination of development activities, focused on migration to SharePoint online applications.
- Support the design, configuration, and development of a new SharePoint Online 365 environment for our client.
- Assist in migrating content, documents, and data from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online while ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to rebuild site architecture, replacing unsupported subsites, forms, and workflows with modern solutions.
- Contribute to the development of site templates, content types, and web parts to meet business requirements.
- Help implement Sharegate to support migration activities.
- Participate in drafting and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, test plans, and weekly progress reports.
- Assist in creating and executing test cases, scripts, and traceability reports to validate system functionality.
- Support the implementation of metadata, taxonomy, and content management
best practices for improved usability.
- Help configure SharePoint security groups, permissions, and compliance settings
in alignment with our client's policies.
- Provide technical support during development releases, testing cycles, and
migration phases.
- Participate in troubleshooting and timely resolution of migration-related issues.
- Assist in preparing user documentation, administration guides, and knowledge
transfer materials.
- Work with business analysts and end users to gather requirements and translate
them into SharePoint solutions.
- Assist in rebuilding InfoPath Forms in Power Apps
- Support integration of SharePoint Online with Microsoft 365 tools such as Power
Platform, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Contribute to post-build reporting, including lessons learned and
recommendations for future improvements.
- Maintain strong communication with project managers, senior developers, and
government stakeholders to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science and/or
related program with relevant Microsoft certification(s) including SharePoint
Certifications.
- 2-4 or more years of experience in a SharePoint Developer role.
- At least 3 years working and developing within Power Platform (Power Apps,
Power Automate, and Power BI).
- Experience with SPO development including SPO Forms and workflows, and
governance.
- 3-5 or more years using ShareGate tool.
- Demonstrated experience in the full software life cycle.
- Effective and proven verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in supporting federal government clients desired.

- Must be US Citizen or with the ability to obtain a US Government security
clearance (Public Trust Tier 4) within a reasonable period.
