We’re looking for a React Native Developer who knows React Native with Expo inside and out, understands how to streamline the release process, and can go beyond the basics when it comes to native integrations. You’ll be working on production apps featuring live content, widgets, and engaging notifications.

What you’ll do

Build and maintain mobile apps using React Native and Expo
Customize Expo projects with EAS builds, plugins, and updates
Simplify app release workflows for both iOS and Android
Write or integrate Swift and Kotlin code for custom native features
Work with native device capabilities like camera, location, biometrics, and file storage
Create widgets and live components that keep users informed in real time
Implement interactive notifications with user actions
Optimize app performance and ensure a seamless user experience
Collaborate with backend developers to connect APIs and manage data flow

What we’re looking for

8+ years in mobile app development (iOS/Android)
5+ years building production apps with React Native
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
Strong understanding of Expo managed and bare workflows
Experience with EAS Build and project configuration
Hands-on experience with Fastlane for automating builds and releases
Familiarity with automated release tools or deployment workflows
Hands-on experience with Swift and Kotlin for custom native modules
Solid foundation in JavaScript and TypeScript
Knowledge of Redux Toolkit, React Query, or similar state management libraries
Ability to work with device features and background tasks
Understanding of notifications, live updates, and offline handling
Comfortable working in Xcode and Android Studio

Location: This is a fully remote position open to U.S. based candidates. The role follows a PST schedule, though any U.S. time zone is acceptable.

Experience in crypto or fintech applications is a plus
Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play
Familiarity with Firebase, Sentry, or mobile analytics tools
Knowledge of real-time data using WebSockets
Experience transitioning projects between Expo managed and bare workflows
Passion for building smooth, responsive mobile experiences
