This role is part of our team for a dedicated Fintech client and requires Remote work in a U.S. state where we are already incorporated. 15 mo. contract - temp to perm.

You'll design, optimize, and deliver useful and elegant best-in-class digital experiences working from a multidisciplinary, holistic perspective, from concept to execution and implementation. You'll apply a broad range of product design capabilities across user experience and visual design to craft complete product and experience solutions.

What You'll Do:

Design & Deliver: Develop and deliver advanced experience design deliverables across the discovery and delivery design workflow with limited oversight. This includes information architectures, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, compositions, design specifications, redlines, and prototypes. You'll design digital experiences across web, mobile web, and native apps (iOS and Android).
Collaborate & Partner: Partner with a diverse set of project stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, building influence and effective partnerships. You will also collaborate with researchers, technologists, and delivery managers across the team.
Advocate for UX & Standards: Act as a strong advocate for exceptional user experience, proactively sharing best practices. You'll respect standards, reflect our design system patterns in your work, and champion best practices while also helping us set visions for innovative digital and technology experiences.
Evaluate & Optimize: Support and leverage evaluative testing across the customer journey, from rapid user testing to usability studies. You will also evaluate and benchmark existing product and service experiences.
Leadership & Mentorship: Participate actively in design critique and be available as a mentor and resource to other designers.
Project Management & Communication: Work on multiple complex designs/projects, managing time and expectations with stakeholders. Drive timely, quality delivery by providing active status updates. You'll use excellent visual, communication, and storytelling skills to challenge the status quo, present independently, and communicate the narrative behind your solutions.
Team Leadership: Conduct accurate and thorough annual reviews for design team members and contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

What You'll Bring:

Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of industry design experience operating as an end-to-end multidisciplinary product designer, with strong capabilities across a range of design disciplines.
Fintech Experience is a must!
Digital Expertise: Extensive experience designing multi-channel consumer-facing apps, responsive web, and websites, including complex systems, user, e-commerce, and transactional experiences.
Usability Acumen: Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, and rapid ideation processes like Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Agile.
Collaboration: A track record for working with cross-functional product development and design teams to ship customer-facing digital products.
Data-Driven Design: Experience defining and utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to inform and inspire design.
Design System Proficiency: Ability to design with a design system and within brand guidelines.
Tools: Highly proficient with Figma.
Portfolio: A compelling and robust portfolio of prototypes and designs that effectively showcase your conceptual, functional, and data-driven thinking. Applications without a portfolio link will not be considered.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 for this position. There is flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications. This represents only a portion of the overall package.
