Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer (Lighting Fixtures) who can design, develop, and refine commercial lighting products from concept to production. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with technical expertise to create fixtures that are not only visually appealing but also functional, cost-effective, and manufacturable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop commercial lighting fixtures, including housings, reflectors, diffusers, and mounting

systems.

• Produce detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and assembly layouts for manufacturing.
• Select appropriate materials (metals, plastics, glass, finishes) ensuring durability, thermal performance, and aesthetics.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize designs for cost-effective manufacturing and compliance with standards.
• Research and incorporate LED technologies, optics, and thermal management solutions into fixture designs.
• Create prototypes and mockups for evaluation, testing, and customer feedback.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety, electrical, and mechanical regulations in key markets (UL, CE, BIS,

etc.).

• Stay updated with lighting design trends, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in commercial lighting fixture design.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong portfolio of lighting fixture designs or related industrial products.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) and 3D rendering tools (KeyShot, VRay, etc.).
• Good knowledge of sheet metal, die-casting, extrusion, and injection molding processes.
• Understanding of LED modules, optics, drivers, and thermal management for lighting.
• Strong creativity and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas effectively.
