Description
We’re looking for a Marketing Operation Manager to take ownership of Mend.io’s global marketing automation strategy and execution. You’ll be at the heart of how we drive scalable, data-informed, and high-impact marketing campaigns- using Marketo and a modern tech stack to support initiatives across content, events, webinars, and lifecycle marketing.
This role is ideal for someone with deep technical skills, a passion for clean data, and a proactive mindset for automation and optimization. You’ll work cross-functionally with demand generation, field marketing, RevOps, and product marketing - and be a key enabler of scalable growth in a hyper-growth, fast-evolving environment.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Automation & Strategy
- Own our Marketo instance and lead the architecture of marketing workflows across lifecycle programs, events, webinars, and lead nurturing.
- Partner with campaign and content teams to launch high-performing, measurable programs that align with business goals.
- Build lead scoring, engagement programs, and marketing attribution that enable Sales and GTM success.
Tech Stack Ownership
- Manage integrations across our tool ecosystem — including Marketo, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, webinar platforms, and analytics tools.
- Implement reusable frameworks, templates, and tokens to streamline global campaign operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the marketing engine runs with precision and scale.
Data & Performance Insights
- Translate campaign and funnel data into actionable recommendations using dashboards, reports, and analysis.
- Monitor campaign health, performance trends, and lead flow to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
- Work closely with RevOps to align on pipeline metrics, attribution, and closed-loop reporting.
Data Governance & Hygiene
- Own data accuracy, segmentation strategy, and field integrity in Marketo and synced systems.
- Enforce best practices for GDPR/CCPA compliance, lead deduplication, opt-in tracking, and data governance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure we are targeting the right audiences with the right message.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of B2B marketing operation experience with deep technical expertise in Marketo (Marketo certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and syncing behavior.
- Advanced skills in campaign logic, segmentation, and lifecycle program design.
- Proven ability to work with data: analyze funnel metrics, define KPIs, and recommend actions that drive measurable impact.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency or strong familiarity with AI tools (e.g., GPT or similar) to enhance marketing workflows, streamline campaign execution, or data management.
- Highly self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with tools such as Zapier, ZoomInfo, Monday.com, Jira, Navattic.
- Experience with field mapping, database management, and API-based integrations.
- Ability to act as a system architect for marketing operations and drive scalable best practices across regions and teams.
