Role: Director of Marketing - Golf
Overview:
- Primary Role: Oversee all Member for a Day digital marketing, partnerships and strategic marketing clients, staff and operations.
- Secondary Role: Assist with event planning, media productions, creative direction and other marketing related activities.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the brand voice and growth engine of a fast-growing company that sits at the intersection of golf, tech, and philanthropy
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals.
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team (in-house and agency support).
- Set KPIs and track performance across all marketing channels.
Growth & Performance Marketing
- Drive user acquisition, donor engagement, and platform traffic through paid ads, SEO, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Implement A/B testing, analytics, and data-driven decision-making to improve ROI.
Brand & Creative
- Elevate the Member for a Day brand to be synonymous with premium golf experiences and social good.
- Oversee all content creation, storytelling, and creative campaigns across web, social, and video.
Partnership & Community Marketing
- Cultivate relationships with golf influencers, ambassadors, athletes, and industry partners to amplify reach.
- Build and engage a passionate community of golfers, donors, and nonprofit advocates.
Communications & PR
- Lead external communications, press outreach, and reputation management.
- Represent the company at industry events, golf tournaments, and media opportunities.
Marketing Client Accounts
- Manage our client relationships from content deals, strategic partnerships and luxury sales opportunities,.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in building and scaling multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of the golf industry—either professionally or personally.
- Experience in mission-driven or social impact organizations a strong plus.
- Excellent storytelling, branding, and digital marketing skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
- Passionate about the game of golf and leveraging it for good.
Right Fit
- Scrappy entrepreneur - We are a small high growth company operating in a niche of the golf space, the right hire has to excel in unstructured environments where they will have clear goals but can develop the systems and strategy to get there independently. This role is the opportunity to effectively build out your own business inside of MFAD.
- Knowledge of the most exclusive golf clubs in the US, especially the top 100. In areas like location, architecture, notable facts. Desire to become a complete expert on all aspects of 100s of these clubs.
