Job Summary
The Senior eRetail Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing eRetail marketing strategies to support B2B sales growth for Medterra, Vena, and Five brands across online marketplaces and delivery platforms, including Walmart.com, GoPuff, DoorDash, and emerging eRetailers. This role is crucial in securing distribution, building brand equity, accelerating digital sales velocity, and providing marketing support through the creation and execution of targeted online retail programs and promotional strategies. As a senior-level position, this role requires leadership, strategic decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to drive digital commerce success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital-first retail marketing plans, including promotions, special packs, media placements, and shopper engagement strategies to drive conversion on eRetail platforms.
- Identify, prospect, and secure distribution in additional eRetailers to expand Medterra’s footprint across digital commerce.
- Oversee product listings, content optimization, and digital merchandising across platforms such as Walmart.com, GoPuff, and DoorDash to enhance visibility and conversion.
- Manage and optimize digital shelf analytics, ensuring brand presence is competitive and aligned with category best practices.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and digital teams to ensure consistency in messaging and execution across eRetail platforms.
- Oversee product data management in GS1 and 1WorldSync, ensuring accuracy and compliance with eRetail partner requirements.
- Provide field sales teams with digital brand assets, updated product information, and promotional insights to support eRetail growth.
- Leverage syndicated market data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, Spins) and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and drive ROI-positive initiatives.
- Recommend swift changes or enhancements to eRetail sales plans based on market trends, performance metrics, and competitive landscape.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key eRetail partners, developing strong relationships to enhance collaboration and growth opportunities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Key Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 4+ years of CPG sales, shopper marketing or e-commerce experience, particularly in personal care, health & wellness, vitamins & supplements, or a high-growth startup brand.
- 4+ years of experience in eRetail or digital marketing with a proven track record of success in online marketplaces (Walmart.com, Amazon, GoPuff, DoorDash, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital marketing tools.
- Experience with syndicated market data tools (e.g., IRI, Spins, Nielsen) and consumer panel data.
Preferred:
- Experience in digital commerce strategy and performance marketing for CPG brands.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience managing product listings, digital merchandising, and content optimization on eRetail platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
