Software Engineer

Medix is partnering with a government health information technology services provider that is working towards building out a healthcare Azure cloud-native platform, that is built in .NET and Angular. They’re looking to bring a Software Engineer onto their team, who has a strong Software Development background using C#/.NET, and knowledge in DevOps.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items.
• Collaborates closely with stakeholders, product owners, and feature team on developing requirements.
• Refines business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
• Perform code reviews.
• Operational Excellence – build, deploy, monitor, and operation of production services.
• Communicates effectively with business stakeholders and technical team.
• Mentor junior software engineers.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field and/or relevant experience will be considered.
• 4+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer

Experience with:

• Full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment.
• Technology like Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform
• MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or other similar relational database management system.
• .NET & C#
• Angular
• Application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments.
• CI/CD and test automation.
• Building cloud-native applications in Azure
