Senior Technical Product Manager
Remote
(12 Month + Contract)
Pay: $60 - $65/HR
As a strategic leader, the Senior Product Manager combines deep subject matter expertise, business acumen, and technical proficiency to drive product success. This role is accountable for ensuring optimal product performance, competitive positioning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities Include:
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy
- Align product priorities with business goals and market demands
- Lead the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-release enhancements
- Ensure product offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry trends
- Partner with engineering, design, and scrum teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable product plans
- Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) to incorporate customer insights and technical requirements
- Manage and prioritize product backlog, ensuring alignment with key objectives
- Break down features into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Work with scrum teams to optimize workflows and ensure efficient development processes
- Monitor team capacity and balance workloads effectively
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Analyze customer needs, feedback, and engagement metrics to drive product enhancements
- Use data-driven decision-making to optimize product performance
- Mentor junior product managers and contribute to best practices within the team
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and agile methodologies
- Foster a growth mindset and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management or technology delivery
- 5+ years of experience in agile or scaled agile development environments
- 5+ years of experience analyzing customer needs, engagement, and product performance
- 2+ years of experience working across matrixed product teams
Preferred:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification
- Experience leading enterprise application development and software integrations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive product decisions
- Experience managing healthcare technology products
- Experience working with state or federal government clients, including procurement and bidding processes
