Director - Marketing, Planning, & Analytics (MP&A)

Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000

Meaningful Beauty is seeking an analytical, business-minded Director of Marketing Planning & Analytics (MP&A) to lead marketing analytics and reporting across our product portfolio. This role partners closely with Growth Marketing, E-commerce, Finance and Supply Chain to turn campaign and customer data into clear insights that guide acquisition, retention, and inventory decisions.

Reporting to the SVP, Finance and Accounting, and managing 1 direct report, this individual will be the connective tissue between marketing performance and financial planning.

What You Will Do

Analytics & Reporting

• Lead weekly acquisition meetings reviewing prior week marketing results, surfacing insights, and shaping strategy for upcoming initiatives.
• Own reporting and dashboards across channels (Meta, TV, Amazon, website, new channels) in partnership with the content and acquisition marketing teams.
• Develop lifetime value models and CAC targets by channel and campaign, including for continuity/subscription customers.
• Support A/B testing strategy and reporting in collaboration with Growth Marketing and E-commerce to improve site conversion and profitability.
• Lead proformas for evaluating and prioritizing new tests and initiatives.

Planning & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Support demand planning with Marketing and Supply Chain to align inventory with expected marketing performance across categories.
• Collaborate daily across Marketing, Ecommerce, Amazon, Brand, Technology, Supply Chain, and Finance & Accounting.
• Proactively evaluate acquisition and retention campaigns, media spend, customer trends, and cost efficiencies, and recommend action.
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations for executive leadership, in writing and in meetings.

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop 1 direct report, building a small, high-functioning analytics function as the business scales.

Who You Are

• 7+ years in Marketing Analytics or Finance, ideally within a DTC, subscription/continuity, or omnichannel consumer brand.
• Beauty, personal care, or prestige consumer brand experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable building models, templates, and dashboards from scratch.
• Strong user and adopter of AI tools to accelerate analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to communicate strategic concepts to executives clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Proactive, detail oriented, with strong follow-through in a fast-moving, streamlined organization.
• Experience managing direct reports preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
