MDST Market is the world's AI-powered modest fashion search engine tackling the massive gap between what modest shoppers need and what's actually available to them. We're using machine learning to transform how people shop for modest clothing, while helping retailers tap into billions in revenue they're currently missing.

Market Opportunity

Here's the reality: despite making up 25% of the global population, modest shoppers are stuck with a frustrating, inefficient shopping experience. They spend 3-5x longer searching for clothes, deal with zero standardized modesty filters, and frequently abandon purchases out of sheer frustration. Meanwhile, retailers are missing out on a $277B market that's growing to $400B by 2027.

The timing couldn't be better for what we're building. The modest fashion segment is growing at 6% CAGR (double the industry average!), we're seeing rising purchasing power in traditional modest markets, explosive social media visibility, and mainstream brands that recognize the opportunity but lack the expertise to actually capitalize on it.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a senior UI/UX Designer who can craft intuitive, culturally-sensitive experiences that solve real problems for modest fashion shoppers while driving business results for retailers.

Technical Experience

• 4+ years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design
• Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or equivalent
• Experience with design systems and component libraries for scalable design
• Mobile-first design expertise - understanding responsive and adaptive design principles
• Prototyping skills using tools like Figma, Principle, or Framer for interactive mockups
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS knowledge preferred)
• Experience with user research methodologies including usability testing, user interviews, and data analysis
• Familiarity with AI/ML interfaces and search-based products (preferred)

Domain Experience

• Experience designing for retail/e-commerce platforms, including product discovery, browsing, and checkout experiences
• Familiarity with search-based products, including search UX, filtering, ranking, and relevance optimization
• Experience working on advertising./ads platforms, such as ad placements, sponsored content, and performance-driven design solutions
• Understanding of how design impacts conversion, engagement, and revenue
