🎯 About The Role

We're looking for a proactive, startup-minded UI/UX Designer with fintech or DeFi expertise to drive the visual and interactive experience of our products forward. You’ll work independently but closely collaborating within our small, dynamic team—including our Head of Product, product requirements engineer, and tech developers.

This job isn't just about delivering designs—it's about deeply understanding the product vision, anticipating user needs, and continuously enhancing the experience without waiting for instructions. You’ll be a critical part of our tight-knit circle, thriving on autonomy and tackling exciting challenges as we grow.

⚡ Your Impact

• Take Ownership: Lead the design process end-to-end, building scalable design systems, reusable component frameworks and beautiful interfaces from scratch.
• Be Proactive: Independently identify areas of improvement and turn complex DeFi concepts and product ideas into seamless experiences and interactive prototypes.
• Drive Innovation: Spearhead the UX/UI design of key upcoming initiatives, such as product gamification and liquidity provisioning features.
• Stay Engaged: Immerse yourself deeply in the world of DeFi and fintech—you're excited by blockchain, understand users intuitively, and actively champion their needs in all your designs.

🔄 What You'll Do Day-to-Day

• Design Frameworks: Create and manage reusable, scalable component frameworks ensuring consistent and high-quality user experiences.
• Prototyping & Wireframing: Turn product team requirements into prototypes, wireframes, and final visual designs ready for implementation.
• Product Ideation: Independently ideate, explore, test, and iterate new design concepts—constantly pushing our product’s design standards forward without explicit direction.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely within our small product team including Product, Engineering, and QA. You’ll lead and advocate for the design vision but remain agile and responsive to team inputs.

💪 We Would Love to Have

• Fintech or DeFi Design Experience: >3 years as a dedicated UI/UX designer in fintech, blockchain, or DeFi startup environments.
• Startup DNA: Minimum 1 year full-time experience in a startup—thriving autonomously amidst ambiguity, resourcefulness, and taking proactive ownership.
• Excellence in Tools: Proficiency in core design and collaboration tools like Figma, Linear, GitHub, Notion, and Miro.
• Passion for Blockchain: Deep interest and curiosity around decentralized finance applications; experience as an active DeFi or crypto user strongly preferred.
• Communication & Proactivity: Clear remote communication skills, proactive attitude, and ability to articulate design decisions effectively across remote teams and stakeholders.
• User-Centered Growth: Experience actively driving growth and refining user experience through direct user research. If you've previously conducted user interviews with traders or DeFi users to understand and optimize product usability, it's a huge plus.
