Job Description:
We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) with experience in mobile app testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with iOS and Android platforms and knowledge of mobile technologies. If you have experience with Adobe tools or tools like Charles/Fiddler, and mobile development environments such as Android Studio or Xcode, that’s a big plus!
In this role, you will help test and improve mobile apps, working closely with other teams to ensure quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobile App Testing: Test apps on both iOS and Android to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Mobile Technologies: Work with iOS/Android platforms; experience with both is a plus.
- Use of Tools: Use tools like Charles/Fiddler for network analysis, and ADB/Logcat/StackTrace for debugging.
- Development Tools: Work with Android Studio (for Android) or Xcode (for iOS) for app development and testing.
- Version Control & Defect Tracking: Manage code with Git and track bugs using tools like Jira.
- System Knowledge: Understand technical systems and ensure they run smoothly.
- Database Skills: Know basic data models and be able to write simple database queries.
- Code Review: Review and understand code, finding issues and suggesting improvements.
- Quality Assurance: Write and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to ensure quality.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with iOS or Android app testing. Experience with both is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Charles/Fiddler, ADB, Logcat, and StackTrace.
- Experience with Android Studio or Xcode.
- Experience with Git and Jira.
- Basic knowledge of databases and querying.
- Ability to review and understand code.
- Experience in quality assurance and writing test plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Adobe tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
