Senior Python Developer (ML/AI)

The Role:

We're looking for a skilled and highly motivated Senior Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and a proven ability to independently drive the technical implementation of projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust applications, working on key initiatives, and delivering high-quality solutions. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned individual contributor who can execute on project goals and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement complex software solutions using Python.
• Take ownership of project implementation, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve our development processes and product capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Expertise in backend development, including building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Exposure to Machine Learning Frameworks.
• Experience with a web framework like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Practical experience applying Python skills in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
