Marketing Coordinator
Job description
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of all stakeholder-facing Marketing platforms for Massage Addict. This role will require an individual to have exceptional awareness and knowledge of all frontline and operational aspects of all Marketing platforms, possess exemplary attention to detail and have experience working in fast paced, highly demanding and interactive team environments.

Proudly Canadian and Locally Owned, Massage Addict is Canada’s first and largest membership-based therapeutic wellness franchise. When the brand launched in Nova Scotia in 2008, it began as a single clinic with one service offering—Massage Therapy.
Over the years the brand has evolved and is now a multidisciplinary clinic model with over 125 locations from coast to coast. Our clinics now offer four services for clients to choose from: Massage Therapy, Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture and Reflexology. What you will bring to the role:
• Post-secondary degree or certification in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field of study.
• Minimum 3 years general Marketing experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Strong planning/organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Nimble, highly adaptable, motivated and hands-on team player.
• Works well in a lean organization and knows how to get the best work from external partners.
• Works collaboratively and cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals and objectives.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google GSuite, Google Analytics.
• Experience/Familiarity working with Email Marketing platforms (i.e. SendGrid; Hubspot; Constant Contact; Marketo etc.)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for content creation, distribution, and engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once to accomplish business objectives.
• Experience in Franchise organizations is a differentiator and huge plus.
• Experience/Familiarity working inside of social media posting and performance platforms (i.e. Sprout Social, Hubspot, etc.).
• Experience/Familiarity with using digital marketing tools and analytics platforms such as Canva, Sprout Social, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Hubspot.
• Experience monitoring Search reviews and reputation management.
Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Email Marketing
• Coordinating design creatives for client emails, recruitment emails, and Franchise emails.
• Execution of email campaigns weekly within SendGrid and Hubspot (including client emails, franchise emails, recruiting emails).
• Responsible for managing all deadlines within client email calendars, recruitment email calendars and franchise email calendars (i.e. knowing when test emails need to be out to adhere to the schedule).
• Work with external content writer once each quarterly plan is completed to ensure first drafts are received on time.
Reviews and Reputation
• Working inside of SOCi platform to respond to client reviews and forward priority messages to Massage Addict Care for immediate attention per MA policies.
• Support regular monthly R&R reporting.
Website
• Regularly update clinic websites with practitioner bios, and minor copy edits when needed.
• Coordinate and execute blog marketing calendars within Professional Development and Franchise websites.
• Working closing with partners to regularly perform website and campaign audits.
Social Media
• Own the daily/weekly/monthly SOCi processes including:
o Develop and support monthly social media calendars for three target audiences: client, professional development and franchise
o Coordinate development of post creative assets, including image sourcing while ensuring all deadlines are kept.
o Execution of the various social media campaign calendars.
o Close monitoring of social media pages for all clinics, working with marketing team to identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Stay up to date with digital technology, social media and marketing trends and algorithms.
Digital Assets
• Responsible for collecting practitioner images with release forms and continually updating folders.
• Responsible for uploading marketing assets to SharePoint for franchise partners.
• Assist with key additional key marketing assets for in clinic marketing, events, and tradeshows including digital ads, brochures, postcards, event signs.
