We are seeking a motivated and passionate Product Owner to join our BCS team within Marsh Technology business.

This role will be based in Cluj Napoca. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Product Owner, you will work with 2 Business Client Services (BCS) squads to help build the requirements for features, PoCs and/or new applications for use by the enterprise.

You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of products and solutions within the organization. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams, product management and the organization at large to define and prioritize the backlog for your squads. You will help with the definition of strategy, vision and roadmap, ensuring our products aligns with the company's goals for innovation and growth.

We will count on you to:

  • Work with agile development team(s) to deliver great products and services for our customers;
  • Know your product details and contribute a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the product and mission;
  • Work with business and technical product managers with the definition of product features and functionality;
  • Maintain an actionable, prioritized team backlog of problems to solve;
  • Express requirements in well written stories which have clear acceptance criteria;
  • Proactively communicate progress, decisions, impediments and risks;
  • Promote continuous improvement;
  • Advocate the problems for which solutions should be built;
  • Articulate the business value of the work we deliver;
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency to identify and mitigate risks and dependencies;
  • Encourages the team to make reasonable commitments to achieve predictability;
  • Join our strategic R&D tech hub delivering industry-leading solutions solving challenges for colleagues across the enterprise.

What you need to have:

  • 5+ years working as a business analyst or in product management
  • minimum 2 years of experience working within a Lean-agile software product development method
  • minimum 2 years of defining and documenting product requirements into small, well-articulated and valuable deliverables
  • Ability to define and document product requirements into small, well-articulated, and valuable deliverables
  • Passion for metrics and driving value
  • Ability to articulate the value of the work you will be delivering.
  • A baseline understanding of technical environment(s).
