Join the team behind digital hits like Monopoly, Cluedo, The Game of Life 2, Ticket to Ride, and Exploding Kittens 2!

At Marmalade Game Studio, we bring beloved board games to life across mobile, PC, and console platforms. With a deep respect for the original games and a commitment to high-quality gameplay, our titles are played by millions around the world.

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to help drive the success of our growing portfolio.

Position overview

As a Senior Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing marketing campaigns across multiple titles. From game launches and DLC drops to in-app events and store promotions, you’ll take ownership of planning, coordination, and delivery. You'll collaborate across departments, bringing creativity, organisation, and data-driven thinking to every campaign.

What You’ll Be Doing

Campaign Ownership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end campaign planning for game launches, major updates, and seasonal events.
  • Create multi-stage campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Social, Development, Community) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Portfolio Management

  • Manage marketing activity for 1–2 live game titles across mobile, PC, and console.
  • Maintain app store listings and ensure promotional content is current, optimised, and brand-consistent.
  • Monitor game performance and make recommendations based on data and insights.

Market & Audience Insight

  • Conduct research into industry trends, player behaviour, and competitor strategies.
  • Support ASO, positioning, and messaging with actionable insights.
  • Keep a close eye on emerging opportunities across platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Development, Customer Support, Design, and Copy teams to execute campaigns.
  • Ensure marketing efforts align with studio goals, production timelines, and approval processes.
  • Keep internal teams informed with campaign updates and progress reports.

Campaign Process & Coordination

  • Write campaign briefs with clear deliverables, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Set up tasks and manage workflows using ClickUp.
  • Oversee production of assets—visuals, copy, social content—and coordinate approvals.

Press, Platforms & Player Comms

  • Draft and manage press releases, platform announcements, and newsletters.
  • Support in-store campaigns, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Liaise with platform teams (App Store, Google Play, Steam, console partners) when needed.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on campaign KPIs using tools like Google Analytics and AppTweak.
  • Optimise campaigns based on performance data and post-mortem learnings.
  • Identify opportunities for A/B testing, keyword improvements, and feature visibility.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in marketing, ideally within games or entertainment.
  • A strong sense of ownership with excellent project management skills.
  • Clear, compelling written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical mindset with a comfort level working with data and campaign metrics.
  • Confidence using project and marketing tools: ClickUp (or similar), Google Docs, Google Analytics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with platform tools like Steamworks, App Store Connect, or console partner portals.
  • An understanding of game development cycles and cross-functional marketing.
  • Familiarity with tools like AppTweak, Gamepress, and social insights dashboards.

What we can offer

Flexible working: choose to work from our London, Lisbon or Bucharest studios, from home, or a mix of both.

Salary based on your experience and skills

40 hours per year dedicated to professional development
