Marketri LLC is a rapidly growing B2B strategic marketing consulting and Fractional CMO provider to mid-sized, growth-oriented companies throughout the U.S.

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Business Development Director to drive Marketri's growth through creative, well-executed, data-driven marketing strategies and targeted business development. This person will work directly with our Owner/Founder to shape and execute the marketing vision that will take Marketri to the next level.

We need a big picture thinker who can develop sophisticated strategies, roll up their sleeves to execute tactically, and leverage cutting-edge marketing technologies and AI to maximize impact and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned to Marketri's business and revenue growth goals
  • Create positioning statements, messaging frameworks, and value propositions that differentiate Marketri in the marketplace
  • Develop persona-based targeting strategies and content plans to attract ideal client prospects
  • Design and implement data-driven demand generation programs across multiple channels

Execution & Campaign Management

  • Manage, oversee, and execute marketing plans, campaigns, and tactics from concept to completion
  • Leverage marketing technologies and AI tools to drive efficiency, quality, and scale
  • Build and optimize marketing automation workflows, email campaigns, and lead nurturing programs
  • Create and manage scalable, measurable marketing programs that demonstrate clear ROI

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Drive pipeline growth through targeted outreach, account-based marketing, and inbound strategies
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic business development initiatives
  • Build relationships with strategic partners and referral sources

Analytics & Optimization

  • Create executive dashboards that clearly communicate marketing performance against goals and budgets
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to track what's moving the needle
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities
  • Make data-driven recommendations to adjust strategies and maximize ROI

Thought Leadership & Brand Building

  • Lead Marketri's thought leadership program with regular, high-quality content contributions
  • Position Marketri as an industry leader through strategic content, speaking opportunities, and digital presence
  • Develop case studies, whitepapers, and marketing collateral that showcase Marketri's expertise
  • Build and nurture Marketri's brand across digital channels

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work directly with the Owner/Founder to shape marketing strategy and business development priorities
  • Collaborate with and share knowledge across the Marketri team
  • Bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to advance Marketri's market position
  • Live Marketri's core values of excellence, accountability, and collaboration daily

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of B2B marketing experience is essential - deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys, longer sales cycles, and complex decision-making processes
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven track record of creating strategic marketing plans and attributing revenue growth to programs you've led
  • Experience writing compelling value propositions and positioning strategies
  • Strong proficiency with marketing technologies, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance marketing efficiency and output quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious goals

As part of the interview process, you'll be required to complete a case study and assessment, and submit samples of marketing strategies and plans you've developed.

Work Environment & Benefits:

This position is remote with occasional travel for team meetings and business development activities. All time must be tracked through our project management system. This is an exempt position and overtime will be required during peak periods.
