About the Role
As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you’ll be the driving force behind our client partnerships—leading strategic marketing initiatives, managing ongoing campaigns, and identifying new growth opportunities. Blending your digital marketing expertise with a consultative mindset, you’ll guide clients through tailored, SEO-led strategies that deliver real results and close new business. What You'll Do:
Business Development & Growth
● Proactively identify new business opportunities within and outside of your book of business.
● Contribute to sales calls and pitch meetings for potential clients.
● Collaborate with the sales team to scope, present, and close new accounts.
● Stay attuned to industry shifts and position our services as solutions to market needs.
Campaign Planning & Execution
● Develop SEO-focused strategies with support from our internal teams (SEO, content, dev, design)
● Create roadmaps with timelines, milestones, and clear deliverables.
● Ensure campaigns are executed on time, on brand, and on budget.
Client Strategy & Relationship Management
● Serve as the strategic lead and day-to-day point of contact for key clients.
● Build trust-based relationships and position yourself as a consultative partner.
● Understand client goals and challenges to deliver high-impact, personalized marketing strategies.
● Lead regular strategy sessions, performance reviews, and quarterly business reviews
Performance Tracking & Reporting
● Analyze campaign performance results using Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
● Report on performance metrics and actionable insights regularly.
● Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For:
Your Background
● 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience, with a heavy focus on SEO or Digital PR/Link Building
● Experience managing multiple client accounts in a digital agency setting
● Proven track record of growing and retaining client relationships
● Comfortable leading strategic discussions and managing the full account lifecycle
● Experience contributing to or owning new business efforts (sales, proposals, upselling)
Your Skillset
● Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms and performance tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
● Excellent communication and storytelling skills: you simplify complex strategies for clients
● Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
● Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
● A team player with a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership
