Interested in using technology to combat climate change? We're a startup focused on sustainable real estate and the built environment. We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on back-end development complemented by solid foundations in front-end technologies.
You will work primarily on the back end, with occasional small changes to the front end. You will collaborate with a capable team, including our lead developer, a front-end developer, and a data scientist. As one of the first employees, you will also work closely with the founding team and have the opportunity to influence the product.
What You’ll Do
- Design and Build: Your primary role will be focused on back-end development coding, designing, and deploying robust features and system improvements.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Innovate: We encourage the exploration of new technologies and methodologies, helping us maintain our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving landscape.
What We're Looking For
Key Skills (You ideally have 80% of them)
- Minimum of 7 years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on back-end development.
- Solid foundations in JavaScript (React), CSS, and HTML.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with mapping libraries like Leaflet or Mapbox.
- Hands-on experience with API technologies, including REST and/or GraphQL.
- Experience in database technologies such Postgres
Nice to have
- Experience with 3D web and GIS. For example: CesiumJS, Maplibre
- Experience in Docker and cloud technologies
