Senior Java Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Full Stack Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and React.js. You will be responsible for developing both backend and frontend components, integrating systems, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop and enhance user interfaces using React.js with a strong focus on performance, usability, and accessibility.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs to integrate front-end and back-end services.
• Write complex and efficient SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation in relational databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a sense of urgency.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose technical solutions to meet business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and building Microservices-based architectures.
• Proficient in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with SQL and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience in React.js, including state management (Redux, Context API), component design, and hooks.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive UI development.
• Experience with tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development (Junit, Mockito, Jest, etc.).
• Understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and application monitoring.
