We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join a Global BioTech company and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using the Microsoft technology stack. You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, working with technologies such as C#, .NET, WPF/XAML, Web APIs, LINQ, and Entity Framework.

Your expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries will be essential to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across our applications. You'll be involved in building service-oriented and microservices-based applications, applying object-oriented programming and design best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end software solutions using C#, .NET, WPF/XAML, Web APIs, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
Write efficient and scalable SQL queries; optimize database performance.
Design and build service-oriented or microservices-based applications.
Ensure high code quality through unit testing and debugging.
Collaborate within Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Participate in test-driven and/or acceptance test-driven development practices.
Contribute to cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure and utilize tools like Postman and FitNesse for testing and integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (B.E./B.Tech., MCA) or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 6 years of experience in professional software development.
Strong command of object-oriented programming principles, UML, and modern development practices.
Proficiency in C# and SQL, with proven experience resolving performance-related issues.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WPF and desktop application development.
Hands-on experience with Agile practices including Scrum or Kanban.
Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
