Salary: 120-150k base, 150-190k OTE

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a visionary Director of Marketing to lead Makeship's marketing strategy and execution. This role is central to our mission of empowering creators, driving revenue, and fostering growth in the creator economy. You'll work across departments and with some of the largest content creators in the world to execute campaigns that generate 6-figure sales in several weeks. Your teams efforts will generate 8 figures in revenue. Your Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to design and execute an effective, comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the unique needs and target audiences of our creators, driving engagement and maximizing impact.
• Identify insights and craft strategies for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and branding initiatives for both new and existing products, ensuring alignment across internal and external audiences
• Establish Makeship as a premier partner in the creator economy through branding, creative pitches, and collaborative approaches.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the user experience (ex. A/B testing with the checkout process, app integrations for sales and promotions, etc.)
• Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
• Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including test/control segmentation, performance tracking, reporting, and optimization
• Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (events, email campaigns, web pages, and promotional material)

What You Bring

• A minimum of 6 years experience as a Marketing Director, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in the e-commerce industry
• Strategic & data-driven mindset. Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies based on analytics, industry trends, and business goals
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
• Adaptability & strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with CRM tools, marketing automation, and data visualization platforms
• Bonus: Experience in Direct to Consumer

Salary Band: 120-150k base per annum plus incentives between 30-40k for total cash compensation between 150-190k. Individual salaries will be dependent on unique skills, experience and qualifications.
