Senior Designer

A small, founder-led creative agency is building a permanent in-house design studio for 2027. The studio has been largely freelance until now, and they want a core team of their own.

About the role

You will work inside established brands, including a global online marketplace and household-name telecoms and hospitality brands. The job is creating work that feels fresh and distinct while staying unmistakably on brand, across campaigns, digital, events and experiences. You will own substantial workstreams from brief to delivery and bring ideas without waiting for direction.

The founders and director team are creatives. You will have access to senior clients, work in a flat structure, and be trusted to manage your own time and output with no daily check-ins.

What you will do

• Create fresh work within established master brand systems across several brand programmes
• Take a brief and bring ideas beyond it, including routes nobody asked for
• Own workstreams from brief to delivery and build clear presentations from complex content
• Design for digitally led environments, with an understanding of motion and how an identity behaves over time
• Work closely with the Art Directors and Creative Directors

What we are looking for

• A portfolio that shows master brand or sub-brand system work, and what you protected and where you pushed
• Concept-led thinking with strong craft and systems thinking
• A background in a design studio or branding agency is common (Koto, Moving Brands, Design Bridge & Partners, Landor, Superunion, Interbrand, or similar)
• Comfortable working autonomously and remotely, low ego and proactive

This is not a role for portfolios that are mostly advertising or purely social, packaging or FMCG.
