Software Engineer in Test

The Magmabyte team is looking for talented QA Automation Engineers to expand the team.

Description

The position is focused around hardening, maintaining and extending the automated testing infrastructure on the project.

Your Job

- You create, maintain, and scale automated test suites for web applications and APIs.

- You ensure a healthy balance between the automation pyramid and the regression suite.

- You manage test data, environments and testing infrastructure.

- You are an advocate for Quality and able to mentor colleagues.

Your Profile

- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Automation QA engineer

- Proven experience with E2E automated tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright... (Playwright is a plus).

- Experience with Mobile automation in frameworks such as Appium, Maestro...

- You are familiar with automation best practices and write clean and maintainable code.

- Excellent understaing of API testing and automation and also able to differentiate when to mock API calls and when to proceed with an E2E flow.

- You have a solid understanding of Docker and containerization.

- Advanced understanding of the testing lifecycle and SQA best practices

Nice to Have

- Experience with Performance testing and profiling tools (JMeter, K6...)

- Javascript / Typescript experience

- Understanding of basic concepts of React / React Native

Our offices are located in the municipality of Kisela Voda and always available to our employees, however the open positions are open to fully remote working with rare trips to the office for team events and project planning.
