We’re working with a fast-growing global D2C beauty and wellness brand that has scaled across the US, Europe, and Asia. The company has built a strong reputation for premium, high-quality products sold through its own Shopify store, leading marketplaces like Amazon, and an expanding network of online retail partners.
The team is now looking for an experienced Head of Ecommerce to take ownership of digital growth and build out best-in-class online marketing, sales, and retention strategies.
Role Overview
As the Head of Ecommerce, you will be responsible for driving online revenue across D2C and marketplace channels. You’ll lead end-to-end ecommerce strategy—managing paid acquisition (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon PPC), conversion rate optimization, SEO, retention marketing (email, SMS, CRM), and performance analytics. This role requires someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the ecommerce P&L, driving growth across Shopify, Amazon, and other digital marketplaces.
- Build and manage digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other paid media channels.
- Lead SEO strategy and content optimization to improve organic rankings and traffic.
- Oversee Amazon PPC campaigns, product listings, keyword optimization, and conversion improvements.
- Drive retention and lifecycle marketing using email, SMS, and CRM tools.
- Implement CRO strategies including A/B testing, landing page optimization, and funnel analysis.
- Partner with creative and brand teams to develop campaigns that align with ecommerce goals.
- Track and report on KPIs such as ROAS, CAC, LTV, and overall ecommerce performance.
- Manage relationships with third-party agencies, vendors, and marketplace partners.
- Stay up to date on ecommerce trends, D2C growth strategies, and emerging digital channels.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or performance marketing roles.
- Proven track record of growing D2C brands and managing large ecommerce budgets.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and ecommerce platforms.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Amazon PPC.
- Experience in SEO, content strategy, and marketplace optimization.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Mixpanel, or similar.
- Strong background in CRM, retention, and lifecycle marketing.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
