About Made With Intent

At Made With Intent, we've built an agentic decision engine that gives ecommerce businesses a new way to improve the impact of their onsite experiences.

Most ecommerce websites currently deliver the same experiences to every visitor, whether all at once on page load or with preset rules reacting to onsite actions. There is a gap between what each visitor needs at each moment and what sites deliver to them. It lacks human intuition and it limits growth.

Our product decides what experience to deliver and when, based on what each visitor is doing (or about to do) at any moment and what will make the most impact. It continuously predicts and autonomously optimises, using the instructions and experiences it's given.

In person, a great sales assistant reads what a shopper is trying to do then adapts. Made With Intent brings this intuition to online shopping.

About our marketing function

Up until recently, our marketing team was just Dan, our VP Marketing. You’d be joining him and Jon, our new Head of Content, and an incoming Product Marketer as we start to build out a proper function.

To date, our focus has been mainly on building awareness around the problem we’re solving and why we’re uniquely positioned to solve it. We have an exciting product and a unique perspective. We have all the proprietary data we could wish for. We have the subject matter experts. We’ve iterated on our product, positioning and proposition and now we know we’re really onto something.

We also know we need somebody to help us level up what we’re producing across all our marketing efforts. That’s you. Hopefully.

About the opportunity & responsibilities

You'll be joining to add quality and quantity to our output. To work with the skill and energy of a creator. To be a connector between the people shaping the work and the channels that carry it. To ensure what we produce isn’t just shipped, but actually seen by our market. You'd report to Dan but work across the whole team.

A good amount of your time will always be dedicated to working on content with Jon. Running specific workflows and channels, repurposing our best ideas, keeping the drumbeat going. You’ll also work closely with Dan and our incoming product marketer on demos, videos, launch assets and tools that help our market see the value of our product and features.

Beyond that, you’ll also work on key projects and initiatives as they emerge. When our Intent in a Tent event needs hands, you'll be there to help. When a campaign needs coordinating across multiple stakeholders, you’ll run it. When our setup or processes need work, you’ll get stuck in.

This is an execution focused role. Clearly. Yet, while the specialists around you hold the strategy and specific briefs, you’ll be expected to be proactive. This means you'll spend every week working with and learning from experts across the business, but you'll have real autonomy over how you work. You’ll bring ideas and “yes, and” energy to the table. Not just do as your told.

This role is really about doing three things:

  1. Creation (aka making stuff). Turning tight briefs and half-formed ideas into finished work: videos, emails, posts, pages, demo assets, tools…the works
  2. Distribution (aka getting stuff seen) Ensuring our content stands out, both where our audience hangs out and in our own/other channels
  3. Connection (aka joining the dots). Acting as a link between our specialists, channels and audience: running handoffs, shipping work and feeding back

Key responsibilities include:

  • Content creation & repurposing. Work with Jon on the channels and workflows that keep our content engine running. Turn long-form work like The Intent Gap report into sequences, clips and posts. Own specific recurring outputs end to end, from draft to launch
  • Product marketing outputs. Work with Dan and our Product Marketer to produce assets that carry our product story: demo videos, feature explainers, launch content, sales tools
  • Social media posting. You’ll work with Jon on the day-to-day output of our social strategy, as well as create your own posts. Ideally, you’ll want to put yourself out there as part of this
  • Customer marketing. Work with our customer and product teams to inspire our users. Think community engagement and communications in product and out of it
  • Distribution. Get our work in front of the right people. That covers our own channels, plus the partners, creators and communities who can extend our reach
  • Campaign & event support. Help run integrated campaigns and our events, including Intent in a Tent. Coordinate the moving parts and make sure the follow-up happens
  • AI-first ways of working. Use tools and workflows daily to move faster without dropping quality. Experiment, find what works, and share it with the rest of the team

In time, this role could grow in all sorts of ways. It could expand in terms of cross-functional influence, seeing you work further with Dan in planning and coordination. Or you might find an area you love and specialise into content, growth, product marketing or operations. You may continue to be a creator type, just delivering better outputs or owning a channel you’ve seen success on. It all depends on you and where you do your best work. Either way, you’ll have worked across every corner of a team on a category-defining product that's growing fast.

What you need to be qualified

  • 3+ years in marketing, ideally B2B SaaS or ecommerce, with exposure to more than one part of the function. You might be a senior marketing executive, marketing manager, creator or campaign specialist today. The title matters less than the work
  • A portfolio of shipped work. Things you made that went live: videos, campaigns, emails, events, tools. We care far more about what you've created than what you've planned
  • Comfort across formats. You can write a strong email, cut a video in Descript or similar, brief a designer, and build a landing page without waiting for someone else to do it
  • Real fluency with AI tools for drafting, generation, research and automation. This isn't an optional extra here
  • Pace and hustle. You'd rather ship something good today than something perfect next month, and you know the difference between the two
  • Organised and dependable. People hand you things because they know they'll get done without a reminder. You chase things down and close loops yourself
  • Honest appetite for an execution role. You want to get brilliant at making and shipping before you set strategy, and you see the value in working with/learning from specialists

Nice to haves:

  • Early-stage startup experience
  • Experience in remote / async environments
  • Video editing or Figma skills beyond the basics
  • Experience supporting events, in person or virtual
  • Familiarity with ecommerce, or marketing to ecommerce teams

What we're offering

  • A brilliant pension scheme including 10% employer contributions, NIC pass-back, and a dedicated financial advisor to support your investment planning
  • A genuinely balanced culture. Gym coverage, private healthcare for you and your family, plus unlimited holidays
  • Remote-first working, with quarterly offsites where the whole team gets together, and a co-working budget for meet-ups or something more permanent
  • Ownership of your work. We'll set goals collaboratively, but you have autonomy over how to get there
  • While not guaranteed, we want to expand our option pool to all team members. When you pass probation, you'd be part of a share options review should it happen. Dan would fight for it, just know it isn’t a certainty
  • A role we'll shape around you. Whether you grow towards a marketing chief of staff position or specialise into product marketing, content or growth, we'll support the path deliberately
  • A small, experienced team where your voice and ideas matter. We hire adults who act with integrity

Interested? Here's what the interview process looks like:

1 - Submit your application.

To be considered for the role, please put together a short video or note responding to the below and your CV with Dan via dan@madewithintent.ai.

  • What interests you about this role and about Made With Intent?
  • What are 3 specific things you've created that you're proud of? Give us a quick show and tell including evidence of the outputs or outcomes. Scrappy and live beats polished and theoretical here.
  • Pick one piece of content you've seen recently that deserved a bigger audience. How would you have better distributed it?

2 - Salary transparency & alignment chat.

If you're shortlisted, we'll calculate and share the salary range up front. If this works for both of us, you'll then meet with Dan, VP Marketing (and maybe a +1 from the team) to talk through values, expectations and how you'd approach working with us.

3 - Thomas profile & role interview.

If we both want to proceed from here, we'll ask you to complete a Thomas profile. This helps us understand whether we're right for you, not just whether you're right for us. It takes around 40 minutes and you'll need to focus without distraction. You'll then meet again with Dan (almost definitely with Jon or another member of the team this time) to run through your skills, experiences and how you think.

4 - Task & presentation.

The final stage is your opportunity to show how you work. We'll give you a real, output-shaped brief, the kind of thing you'd pick up in week one, and ask you to make something and show us how you'd get it seen. You'll present to Dan and Jon, plus we may invite somebody else from the business along too. We're not looking for polish. We're looking at your judgement, your pace, and how you handle a brief with gaps in it.

Reference & background checks.

Offer to the successful hire.
