We’re seeking a data scientist with at least 4 years experience in advanced data analytics, with skills in python, SQL and engineering data pipelines. You’ll work independently and with our Technical, Product, and Medical teams on our medical data analytics projects and CDK-defined AWS cloud infrastructure. This position will play a significant role in the further evolution of our analytics platform, and development of advanced predictive models not previously available in our industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Medical data collection & ETL in a structured and automated cloud environment
• Data analysis using statistical analytics and data visualisation with programmatic visualisation libraries
• Maintain and deploy an AWS-based SQL data warehouse with data orchestration (Airflow), transformation (SQLmesh), and metric storage (CubeJS)
• Development of predictive machine learning models

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 5 years of python experience, or alternatives such as R or Matlab
• Prior experience with SQL, data models for relational databases, and engineering data pipelines
• Experience with compliance and privacy requirements in a regulated environment, such as healthcare or similar
• Experience with platforms and tools such as AWS, Airflow or Prefect, DBT or SQLMesh, CubeJS or MetricFlow
• Data analysis and visualisation experience with NumPy, SciPy, Matlab or similar
• Machine learning, NLP or CNNs with tools such as Pytorch, Scikit-Learn, SpaCy
