Role Description

M-TREAT is seeking a visionary UI/UX Designer to join our mission-driven team as a volunteer. In this role, you will craft intuitive, user-centered designs that power our cutting-edge digital healthcare platform. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design seamless user experiences that improve healthcare accessibility and efficiency. This position demands creativity, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional design solutions.

Responsibilities

Design user interfaces and experiences that align with M-TREAT’s mission and vision.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for web and mobile applications.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights.
Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design into development.
Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components.
Optimize designs for usability, accessibility, and performance.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to deliver innovative solutions.
Iterate designs based on feedback and user behavior analysis

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 4+ years in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of web and mobile applications.
Technical Tools: Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
Design Systems: Proven ability to create and maintain design systems and component libraries.
Usability Focus: Deep understanding of usability principles, user research methods, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Prototyping Expertise: Advanced proficiency in creating interactive prototypes.
Collaboration Skills: Experience working closely with developers in agile environments.
Healthcare Experience (Bonus): Familiarity with designing solutions for the healthcare sector is a significant plus.
Creativity Under Pressure: Ability to generate innovative design ideas while adhering to tight deadlines.
Self-Driven: Strong time management skills and ability to excel in a remote, volunteer setting.
