Role Overview

Are you ready to design impactful healthcare solutions and redefine user experiences? M-TREAT is looking for an experienced and visionary Volunteer Product Designer to lead the charge in crafting intuitive, user-friendly designs that transform the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Own the end-to-end product design lifecycle for M-TREAT’s web and mobile platforms.
• User-Centered Design: Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect interfaces using Penpot (or similar tools).
• Research-Driven Solutions: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
• Design System Development: Build and maintain a scalable, cohesive design system that aligns with M-TREAT’s vision.
• Problem Solving: Address complex design challenges with innovative, functional, and scalable solutions.
• Advocacy: Promote design best practices, ensuring every feature delivers exceptional user value.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+years in product design with a portfolio showcasing exceptional UX/UI work on shipped digital products.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Penpot, or willingness to adapt quickly (experience with Figma or similar tools is acceptable).
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of design principles, human-centered design methodologies, and accessibility standards for web and mobile platforms.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience or interest in healthcare or health-tech is a strong plus.
• Collaboration: Outstanding communication skills and a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Problem Solving: Adept at delivering user-friendly solutions to complex design challenges.
• Design Systems: Demonstrated experience in creating and scaling comprehensive design systems.
