Role Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer (Volunteer - Remote) to join our team at M-TREAT. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end web applications. Your daily tasks will include writing clean, efficient code, testing and debugging applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring software quality and performance. You will also participate in technical architecture discussions and product development.

🚨 Important Note: This is currently an unpaid volunteer position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both back-end and front-end components of the platform.
• Implement scalable and efficient solutions using Django, Redis, PostgreSQL, React, Redux, and Material-UI (MUI).
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to design and develop new features.
• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in web-based applications.
• Follow cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and system design.

Qualifications

✅ Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.

✅ Back-End Development: Experience with Django, Redis, and PostgreSQL.

✅ Front-End Development: Proficiency in React, Redux, and Material-UI (MUI).

✅ CSS Expertise: Strong skills in CSS for designing responsive interfaces.

✅ Experience: At least 3 years of full-stack development experience.

✅ Web-Based Applications: Proven track record in developing web-based solutions.

✅ Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with best practices for securing web applications.

✅ Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

✅ Remote Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative team environment.

✅ Healthcare Industry Experience (Bonus): Prior experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
