Project Description:
Applications are invited for the position of RegularJava Developer working for one of Luxoft's clients.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Java development team for a modern network and telecom benchmarking product.
The advanced networking and telco test product is a virtualized test/measurement solution that can emulate/measure millions of application streams. As a solution, it can be embedded in different test setups: OpenStack / Hybrid Cloud, Cyber Thread Analysis, Video delivery, Network Visualization Function, etc.
Luxoft is engaged with Wireless division in the development for our customer line of products, being fully responsible for the development of a many of the simulations that construct this product offering.
Responsibilities:
Full participation in the development life cycle for new features, from specification writing, to design, implementation, and testing, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards
Working with Product Management to ensure customer requirements are adequately captured and understood
Delivering new features to the product from design through to development and testing, prototyping where necessary.
Working with peers and other developers to deliver improvements to the core product and to integrate new technologies where appropriate
Offering technical training, mentorship, and performing code reviews to other developers to ensure delivery of features with high standards of quality
Working effectively with the Test & Verification team to resolve issues
Mandatory Skills Description:
Java 3+ years of relevant experience
Spring Framework (JPA/Hibernate, Boot, Cloud) 2+ years of relevant experience
JUnit usage or similar for unit testing with sw dev projects
SCM with SVM and Git
Database exposure to MongoDB, PostgreSQL,
Microservices
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
Linux
Scripting with Bash or similar
Virtualization technologies like ESXi or KVM
General knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, and VoIP protocols is a plus
Experience of JIRA and Confluence
