We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance software systems across both backend and frontend technologies. This role involves managing a talented team of engineers and directly contributing to the architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance of production-grade applications that operate at scale and under high-traffic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
• Serve as a hands-on technical leader, actively writing code and contributing to the most critical components of the system architecture and feature development.
• Architect and build scalable backend systems using Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and FastAPI.
• Design and implement robust, user-facing frontend applications using Next.js, leveraging server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Develop and maintain containerized deployments on AWS, using services such as ECS, ECR, and Fargate.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and ensure infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automating build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Integrate and process large-scale datasets through well-structured RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like Sentry, and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and review processes across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of verifiable professional experience in software development, with full lifecycle ownership of complex applications.
• Deep expertise in Python frameworks including Django, DRF, and FastAPI.
• Demonstrated success in architecting and delivering production-grade applications at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in Next.js for developing dynamic, high-performance frontend systems.
• Practical experience with AWS services (ECS, ECR, Fargate) and cloud-native deployment strategies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Proficient in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Proven ability to work with large-scale datasets and integrate them efficiently within software ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL API paradigms and best practices.
• Excellent command of technical English, both written and verbal.
• Strong experience with Git and modern version control workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with distributed processing frameworks such as Ray, Redis, or Celery.
• Experience with high-performance data platforms like Elasticsearch, Kafka, or ClickHouse.
• Understanding of microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
