The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product Design team and lead the design efforts for our Extended Planning and Analysis (xP&A) and Intercompany Reconciliation products. This is a strategic role focused on delivering high-quality UI, shaping intuitive workflows, and integrating AI into the user experience. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and fellow designers to bring clarity, usability, and innovation to Lucanet’s most advanced product areas.
What you'll do
- Deliver clear, accessible, and aesthetically refined interfaces.
- Apply strong visual hierarchy, layout, and typography to improve usability.
- Ensure UI details are intentional, consistent, and aligned with the product’s purpose.
- Prototype to explore ideas, validate design decisions, and communicate intent.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and teammates.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and PMs to bring designs into production.
- Lead workflow documentation and define usability heuristics for reconciliation and planning.
- Contribute to Lucanet’s design system and UI quality efforts.
- Explore and shape early-stage AI workflows, including MVP design for our AI-powered design agent.
- Establish collaboration channels with the Intercompany Reconciliation front-end team.
- Make UI decisions that consider technical feasibility and business context.
What you bring to the table
- Minimum 4 years of experience in UI/UX design or a similar role.
- Strong eye for visual design and a passion for clarity, hierarchy, and aesthetics.
- Experience with front-end technologies (React preferred; Angular is a plus).
- Tech-savvy and passionate about AI in design.
- Comfortable leading large, complex projects and driving initiatives from concept to execution.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to present design rationale and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience with informal user research and adaptable design methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
