As a Senior Software Engineer at Lucanet, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving our reporting tools, ensuring they meet ever-changing regulatory requirements while driving the transformation of our technology stack. This is a critical position, born out of both necessity and opportunity—one of our team members has moved on, leaving a gap in expertise at a time when our systems need both careful stewardship and forward-thinking innovation. From legacy C# libraries that power XBRL reporting to modern Angular applications leveraging GraphQL in AWS, your work will help shape the backbone of financial reporting for banks and regulatory authorities.

The role is central to both keeping the business running smoothly and propelling it forward. You will be responsible for implementing new reporting standards, refining existing tools, and ensuring that Lucanet remains ahead of the curve in regulatory compliance. With plans to migrate legacy .NET 4.7.2 and ASP.NET applications to Angular and .NET 8, you will play an instrumental role in shaping this transformation. Our XBRL Engine and Portal, core components of our reporting infrastructure, require careful refactoring, performance improvements, and forward-thinking architecture to support multi-targeting across different .NET standards.

You'll join a highly collaborative Scrum team (five developers, two product owners, two QA) with deep domain expertise, including XBRL Engine/Portal specialists, supporting various tools. Your work will impact both the team and company-wide reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions (e.g., FCA, FMA). This role involves embracing and improving existing systems, proactively untangling complex code, refactoring, and removing inefficiencies. We need an engineer who takes ownership, seeks better ways, and brings fresh ideas—someone who enjoys problem-solving and long-term architectural improvements, making a lasting impact at Lucanet.

Core Responsibilities _–

_Maintain and evolve reporting tools to meet changing regulatory requirements and drive technology stack transformation.

Implement new reporting standards and refine existing tools to ensure Lucanet’s leadership in regulatory compliance.

Contribute to the migration of legacy .NET 4.7.2 and ASP.NET applications to Angular and .NET 8.

Refactor, improve performance, and architect the XBRL Engine and Portal to support multi-targeting across .NET standards.

Collaborate within a Scrum team to deliver high-quality software impacting company-wide reporting and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
